Like most creatures, we fear what we don't understand. But slowly people are being brought over to the not-as-dark-as-you-thought side, such as this lady who was hell bent on halogens only. Gave her the option that we would stomach the cost of putting in halogen if she didn't like the LED look. Fortunately for us, she was pleasantly surprised!
Using a combination of a Lutron intelligent lighting system, spike lights with compact florescent lamps & some rather pricey copper light fittings, we managed to get an effective look to this garden. To reduce running costs, all the halogen lamp fittings were retro fitted with MR16 LED lamps. A final touch was stage lighting grade pink filters. Not too bad at all!
